The only tarmac circuit used for motor racing located 75km away from Colombo in the North Central province of Sri Lanka. It was originally a gravel track, turned into a tarmac circuit in 2001. It is a very tight circuit, which requires good driving skills and proper set up of the race car.
Although the distance of the track is just 1.7km, it is a track that is appreciated by many drivers and spectators alike.
Depending on the type of race held, the spectators could vary from 6,000 to 17,000.
There are at least 5-6 races held every year with some of them are part of club championships and the others of the National Tarmac Championship.
