TARMAC TRACKS

KATUKURUNDA

The most famous and the oldest tarmac race circuit in Sri Lanka which is part of a runway belonging to the Sri Lanka Air Force base at Katukurunda located 60km from Colombo in the Western province.

This distance of the track is 2.2km with two long straights, which requires the race cars to have good straight-line speeds.

The track is used by many clubs to hold meets, which is also a part of the GT Championship, SLARDAR Championship along with some other races as Club Championships.
