Situated in the Polonnaruwa district of Sri Lanka with a distance of 210km from the capital Colombo. The 1.6km track is within the compound of the Gunner Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army and the track consists of many hills and thus driver capabilities play a major role in winning the event.

The meet is held annually during the month of July by SLARDAR and is a part of the GT Championship and the SLARDAR Championships. About 15,000 spectators witness this motor sporting event every year.
